Job Title: Supply Chain Planner
Salary: Up to £30,000
Location: Lytham
Shift: 39 hours per week – 07:30am till 16:30 Monday to Thursday & 07:30am till 12:30 Friday

Working within the Purchasing Department to secure supplies of materials and consumables to meet the company and manufacturing schedules.
Building sustainable relationships with suppliers, issue weekly schedules and raise purchase orders using the MRP system.
What you’ll be doing:
· Create and maintain contracts and schedules including cost updates in the MRP system
· Generate weekly material schedules for supply chain and verify content
· Raise purchase orders for consumable requirements
· Obtain and manage despatch plans and update the MRP system, expediting when required
· Report on OTDIF
· Arrange subcontractors’ purchases
· Arrange internal transport
· Manager supplier despatch plans
· Liaise with sub-contractors
· Expedite any over-dues and pull forward orders
· Attend daily production meetings and report on shortages
Your skills and experiences:
· Knowledge of ERP/MRP system
· Excellent Excel skills
· Excellent Communication skills – verbal and written
· Pro-active rather than reactive
· Self starter with ability to work under pressure, priorities and multi task
· Previous scheduling/purchasing experience
· Experience of working in an Engineering / Manufacturing industry
