ESG Officer


FUNCTION

For the continual improvement of the ESG policy and follow up of ESG related activities in line with the strategic objectives, the ESG Officer will prepare communication on ESG performance to internal and external parties and share knowledge with all teams on ESG related topics in a resourceful and imaginative way in order to achieve a resilient approach.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Promotion of the achievements and objectives of the ESG policy
Taking part in the editing of the various surveys (GRESB, CDP, sustainalytics, etc.).
Ensuring internal communication of the ESG policy.
Review press releases.
Participate in preparing presentations to investors.
Review portfolio communication prepared by the communication team.
Produce semi and annual reports.


Monitoring ESG policy

Accurate and improved ESG management tools.
Supervise and coordinate the ISO 14001 certification.
Assure access to innovative tools and techniques for reaching ESG goals.
Provide internal ESG training tools.
Analyse ESG trends and contribute to a climate change resilience action plan.

Coordinate and assist all teams in ESG-related tasks to ensure an efficient and homogeneous approach
Contribute to developing action steps and KPIs at operational level for implementation of E, S and G objectives.
Contribute to identification of main objectives at corporate and team level.
Coordinate and formulate guidelines on ESG certificates (EPC, BREEAM, etc.).
Monitor other ESG initiatives on building developments (LCA, circular economy, biodiversity, supplier due diligence).

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

General Knowledge

Detailed knowledge of the languages NL, FR, ENG: oral and written
Office automation knowledge MS OFFICE: Word / Excel
Bachelor/Master in Environmental Sciences, engineering or comparable
Minimum of 5 years in ESG related function


Specific Skills:

Excellent communication skills
Basic knowledge of real estate sector and sustainable construction
High interest in ESG legislation
First experience in Project Management and good problem solving skills
