What are my responsibilities?1. Be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the strategies and work processes for the Supplier Management & Sourcing at SSML GMC. Be accountable for continuously improving the company's supplier base and their performance through establishment of sustainable processes that continually improve the total cost position of SSML GMC as well as quality and availability of material to ensure delivery reliability towards SSML GMC customers.
2. Responsible for team objectives, planning, optimization, and control of the result from materials to increase the cost productivity.
3. Support in implementing the company's supply chain management strategy and related objectives (e.g., capacity increase, lead time reduction, localization roadmap, 2nd source strategy, cost reduction (PPC) targets, support of Global Sourcing etc.).
4. Ensure early integration to maximize fulfillment of cost target, in all procurement related procedures to be a competent partner to all internal customers for the early integration of suppliers.
5. Develop and establish controlling & reporting on Strategic Procurement activities and progress of Supplier Management incl. related KPIs.
6. Ensure Corporate Responsibility in the Supply Chain and Compliance with internal regulations and applicable laws.
7. Team management and Competence Management /build up for staff members.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
1. Bachelor’s degree above in Business/Management Studies or Science/Engineering major.
2. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing company, preferably multinational corporation, or joint venture (with more than 200 employees). At least 8 years’ experience in P&L management fields.
3. Procurement &sourcing experience and methodologies, supplier management process. Global sourcing ,project localization experiences.
4. Be familiar with commercial Knowledge, knowledge of contract law, finance/cost analysis, negotiation skills.
5. Fluent in English
