Core Responsibilities

  • SAP Excellence: Handle SAP order processing and conduct compelling Request for Quotation (RFQ) exercises, ensuring our procurement operations run smoothly.
  • Vendor Management: Cultivate relationships with our suppliers through collaboration, balancing cost-effectiveness, superior quality, and optimal lead times to guarantee the best deals for our organization.
  • Goods Receipt: Be responsible for the meticulous goods receipt process, ensuring every component meets our standards, allowing us to maintain the exceptional quality.
  • Cost Efficiency: Track expenditures with precision, seeing opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining our commitment to quality, ensuring our budget aligns perfectly with our standards.
  • Sourcing Expert: Take the lead on our Sourcing Key Performance Indicators, driving continuous improvement.
  • Warehouse Management: Handle our warehouse operations, ensuring flawless organization, accurate inventory, and timely distribution, all elements in the LEGO production.
  • Global Shipping Parts: Navigate the complexities of global shipping with expertise, ensuring the safe passage of our parts across international borders reaching their destination on time, every time.

The Sourcing and manufacturing department has the responsibility of internal manufacturing of machines and equipment.

The department supports the Processing organization in delivering novelty equipment, platform development and platform management and ownership.

As Technical Buyer you will be part of a small team where your focus will be sourcing and procuring technical components, including manufactured, electrical, and pneumatic parts, and consumables. This global position involves collaborating with site MRO, running the end-to-end procurement process.

The focus is on maintaining a seamless supply chain and upholding quality standards.

Do you have what it takes

The right candidate for this role brings experience as a buyer and technical understanding. You have outstanding collaboration skills on a global level in proficient Danish and English. You also bring:

  • Proven experience within the field of technical purchasing.
  • High level of knowledge in IT, SAP MM module or similar ERP system.
  • Knowledge of machining and processes to be able to map vendors.
  • Knowledge of warehouse routines and procedures.
  • Skilled in vendor management.
