Job Description

We are currently looking for an energetic, empathetic and highly motivated individual to join our Customer Service Team in a full-time basis. The trainee will provide a welcoming and helpful first point of contact at reception and over the telephone. The role will provide administrative, clerical and client support for both the WDEA Works Training team and other staff members. As well as general administration duties, key tasks include reception duties, such as transferring calls, word processing, stationery orders, mail and courier duties, purchase orders and petty cash processing.

Desired Skills and Experience

Ideally you will have experience in a retail or customer service-oriented role, or a willingness to deliver exceptional customer service. You will be capable of managing your time and tasks efficiently and competent using MS Outlook, Word and Excel. You will enjoy working within a harmonious team environment, align with our core values that we uphold with pride, and enjoy working with people of all abilities.

Our ideal candidate will have the following;

  • Experience in a customer service role
  • Solid administration skills, be computer literate and strong attention to detail
  • Possess outstanding time management abilities, priority tasking, problem solving and overall organisational skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Great customer service skills and have a knack for making others feel comfortable in their presence
  • Current Working with Children check
  • Current Victorian Drivers License
  • Current Police Check
  • Capacity to undertake a Certificate III in Business Administration
