Summary
Christ Church Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic After School Club Assistant, to join their friendly team of staff. The successful applicant will assist with the day-to-day organisation and operation of the club and will provide high quality provision in accordance with the ethos of the school. The successful applicant will contribute to the smooth running of the After-School club under the direction of the Headteacher.
Main responsibilities will include:

- Creating a welcoming environment for the children attending
- Assist in the handover/collection of children to/from other areas of school, where applicable, and ensure their safe handover to parents/carers at the end of the day.
- Ensuring that accurate attendance registers are maintained
- Facilitating enjoyable and constructive play for children
- Supporting children with the completion of homework, where required
- Managing children’s behaviour positively
- Assist with the preparation and serving of snacks, as appropriate
- Cleaning of resources, equipment and areas
- Administering first aid as appropriate (where qualified to do so).

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro–rata basis.
