Commercial Specialist [Belgium]

We are looking for a Commercial Specialist.
The Commercial Specialist bridges the customer needs once the sales manager has closed the negotiation. (S)He therefore is the central pivot to support the needs of the customer and facilitates the transfer of the customers desires and needs into the organization.
What you will do:

Respond to customer requests (answering client questions & responding to complaints)
Gather customer feedback & satisfaction to exceed expectations & capture customer needs (in terms of closely connecting with the customer) & share with relevant internal teams
Reporting on client turnover to clients
Support accounts and prospects:
Forecasting support on client inventory related activities
Promotion management (completing info in CB systems, alignment with supply planning team)
Stock management (follow-up on obsoletes & outdated stock risks)
Completing logistic & quality documents
Administration work (approving supplier invoices / 3rd party commission invoicing / ..)•Project coordination of product adjustment activities; ; SPEC project follow-up, technical packaging work related to specifications, artwork, print service coordination, and the coordination of samples
Business development:
  • Offer, pricing & contract management support
  • Support business development opportunities proactively by identifying new sales opportunities
  • Support Sales managers with creating key account plans for priority customers: prepare ‘customer files’ for customer visits of KAM

What we appreciate:
  • Education: University degree or equivalent
  • Min 3 years experience in commercial role in FMCG
  • Strong account management skills
  • Relationship management skills
  • Communication and negotiation skills.
  • IT skills (MS Office, CRM, other tools)
  • Behaviours: Team player, customer minded and result oriented.
